Im not going to do it because my n9 is going in for sevice to get screen replaced. (3 months overdue:P)

Use the flasher recommened over at nitdroid forum and the kernel image and the line in the how to from that thread. If you feel insecure about how its done maybe you shouldnt, but its always fun to try some new things
