how can I change the conversation tone - maemo.org

when I receive an sms, there is no problem with the ringing tone.
when the conversation is open and I exchange sms with another person, there is a very low beep tone which cannot be heard if you move from the phone like 3 meters or more.
Can I change that beep to another sound somehow? it is not in settings/profiles

Have you tried a none default message tone?

I am not talking about the message tone.
when a new message comes the tone is fine.
when the conversation is open and a new message comes the message tone is not the same. it's just a low beep

/usr/share/sounds/chat-msg_in_fg.wav playing when the conversation dialog is open i think.
