Do we only need QGVDIALl for this package to work, or do we need your other packages like qgvtpmosquitto and qtvnotify before it can function properly.
As much as i would love to try the application, it has never been able to log me in.

All i get is the "LOGIN FAILED" error message.
qgvdial is the actual app. It has dependencies on libmosquitto, so you'll need to install that.
qgvtp is the phone integration for the n900. You can work without it if you don't want the " Call with qgvdial" option in your n900.
qgvnotify is typically not to be run on a regular n900.
What error message does it show you? What version are you using?

Thanksf for your response.
After installing the latest build in the extra dev. repo along with mosquitto and qgvtp, it is now able to log me in automatically.
The only issue i am facing right now is that my phone rings showing a call from my google voice number, but the number i am trying to call does not ring. After few rings(4 rings) my google voice mail will come on.
Could that be a problem with my setup?

So you make a call to someone - say X - using qgvdial and the "dial back" setting... and you get a call back that rings only 4 times before it goes to voicemail?
Are you able to pick up before the 4 rings finish?
For the first month or so I kept being able to pick up sometimes not.
Then I realized that TMobile had set the voicemail for my number to 15 seconds.
I told them to completely disable voicemail for my number. In any case Google Voice already has voicemail, there was no need to have yet another voicemail.

Sorry, if i wasn't clear on my earlier post.
I made the call. My google voice number was calling me back, but the phone was not ringing on the other party's line. When the it wasn't picked up by the other party because it did not ring over there, it went to my google voice voicemail.
By the way i do not have any of the sip/skype type of setting, and right now i am out of the country. May be that is the problem. I will investigate further.
