I Changed the housing from Black to Cyan and now my phone is not charging at all, even the USB cable plugged into computer does not do anything. What could I look for? after I changed the housing everything worked perfectly fine but came to know that the charger is not working when finally plugged the phone in when it was going dead.
What could I look for and see if I can make it work.

It is possible that the micro USB port is damaged... considering the first two things in disassembly go through dealing with that bit... The screw and lid.

Try to re-attach all the connectors (I can't remember which one is responsible for charging but you probably connected it wrong)

I might be a bit late answering this for you but I had the same problem, as well as the sim card not recognising and the phone not booting everytime.

I got away with buying another battery and flashing it with the juice that was in the battery from new. I used Navifirm to get the firmware and the flasher utility for windows
