As your picture is from Samsung device (http://www.fevernet.com/viewthread.php?tid=74246).
I dont have depleted pixels, I saw it on the nokia lumia. I used the photo as an example of what it looks like. -- screen shots cannot capture it. So the creator of the thread would be the best one to ask. I like the status bar auto hiding because I thought its a nice thing to have.

This Windows phone "feature" is stupid. When I was browsing the web on my Lumia 800 I had to keep tapping the top of my screen (to check whether i lost the connection) whenever the browser was being slow.

Reception indicators should always be there IMO. But I guess if this is possible then more choice is always good.

@mohannad i think auto hide is good. If there is choice. That is why in an earlier post i said. They should have given a choice to hide sometimes and other not. for me. There are times i dont want to see the status bar. And other times i do. -- people are different and there is no one size fits all in this world. So thats just me. But agreed with you. More choice. Better

If you have problems with your device, then go to Nokia Care.

I was going to comment but i held my peace, at first i thought maybe he made a mistake, and ment 2011 Oct, because that seams logical, then after that i thought,

Is Nokia giving us Old technology? from 2010, but then i was like, Better not say anything, because this might make nokia look bad.

i would say... Nokia cares about its final products so they test them for a while so the end user wouldnt had many problems

He works at nokia, a quick google search or a quick tmo seach would reveal this information.

People are so quick to assume people are lying here. So childish.

If you pay attention to rainisto's posts, it's clear he works for Nokia as well.
