iLauncher has the tendency to crash in the start up . . dont worry about that... go slow

install taskXp and stick it in the bottom bar like i did for quick access... & keep a watch on Ram..

how much memory would it take? will it run via micro SD as NITDriod does?

usability increases and so does the performance i don't think their are any changes in speed...

as i said keep an eye on ram... mine stays around 80 to 100mb free... if it goes below 30mb.. i regain it via TaskXP

try it... as for DPI dont worry, it will revert back to normal on reboot unless you check "set on boot" option in LCD Resolution

If you like the FREE version so much, go and pay for the FULL version ($1.94).

edit: Espier Launcher looks good, but don't install it unless you have CMod. It reads your calls, messages, so many things...its crazy.
Its a very good clone of iOS, but I didn't like it too much. I need to have 5x5 grid on the NOTE, otherwise the extra space is pointless.
