Problems with flashing vannilla EMMC - maemo.org

I want to completely flash my n900, the only problem is that vanilla wont flash.

First I just flashed the firware to check if everything worked, that went good.

But when I try to flash the EMMC with this command:
C:\Program Files\maemo\flasher-3.5>flasher-3.5.exe -F EMMC_by.Mido.FaYad.8.giga.bin -f

The USB icon on the top right dissapears from my n900 when the flasher goes to booting device into flash mode, after that I get the error: suitable USB device not found, waiting.

I have tried diffrend USB ports and replugging the n900 with pressing u when the icon dissapears.

Does anybody know how to fix this?? please help me.

i think you already created a thread for it. and also this thread is posted in wrong section.

which version of windows you are using ? if win XP then which service you are currently running ?

yea that was wrong, is there any way to delete that tread, sorry if this is in the wrong section, can it be moved?

It is running xp service pack 1, but I will try soon on a vista 32 bit.

try flashing emmc in win xp Service Pack 3. flasher will not flash emmc in sp2 or in sp1. i have checked both Win 7 32 bit and Win XP SP3 flasher works great on both.

There is a driver installing problem with XP SP2.

remove ur battery, when its say not found pull off ur n900, insert it again, amd make sure there is no nokia pc suite on your pc(driver conflict)

he is not using latest flasher version ?? and shouldn't he rename the emmc file to the original name !
