although I'm guessing there are many more N9s that have been sold so far than N900s
Good joke.

Does anyone know what interface is used to connect N950 keyboard to it's body? Is there any standardized way used at all? N9 is internally so similar to N950 in many ways, so maybe it's possible to wire/solder "something somewhere", thus avoid using bluetooth for thing that should be connected all the time = better battery life?
From one point of view, I know and feel that such nodding ideas are great, and more polished, the better. On the other hand, I feel extremely sad for N9 users, when I realize that every "quick slide out" for typing few lines of code/commands require bluetooth pairing etc, otherwise, is eating battery like hell.
Yes the N9 probably sold already more than N900's were ever made. I say peobably reading estimates around the web because Nokia didn't release numbers for either model.

Completely agree but I think that we are going to find a problem here
Not a lot of N950 = not a lot of N950 owners
Not a lot of owners open their devices
Multiply probability
Not a lot of not a lot of N950 owners open their devices
In other words I am not sure an N950 owner will come to THIS THREAD to open his device and help

Hi there,
I made some photos of my opened N950 some time ago. But I haven't taken it apart all the way down to the pcb. So I can't tell which connector is used.
But I know that the N9 has a completely different pcb layout. I don't think that it has connectors for a keyboard... Sorry.
edit: just read the thread a little bit. yes, there a far, far more N9s than N900s.
edit2: but I will completely tear apart the N950 as soon as I'll get the successor.
