I think you have to spell the word reinstall with two ls the way the instructions did.

Well, it's done. The package size was 1,8mb. Now the Drive starts without problems on "offline" mode. Is it possible to do the same trick with Maps, them takes 2 times to me clicking "Yes" when asked "do I want to close the application because it's not responding".

just realised - if Drive app hangs at splash-screen just press lock/unlock button 2 times to lock and unlock screen, and the app is up
