The title is self-explanatory. I have added videos to the movie folder but I can't get the videos to show in the video player. The only videos that show up there are videos that I copied over from my Nokia N900 and videos that I download in the store. Any videos recorded in the device are saved in the gallery. I have moved them over from the DCIM folder to the movie folder but they don't show up in the video player. Any reason why??
The videos you added are probably are unsupported by the N9. You can definitely rule out HD videos, except the ones you record using the N9. When it comes to H.264 files, make sure the the videos are encoded using the Baseline profile, and not Main and Advanced profiles. Lastly, the resolution of the video files should be about 854x480 or less.
I know. A real shame the N9 isn't the perfect video player it's supposed to be. T.T
