Yes, no matter what is selected, orientation is landscape only

I meant the buttons, To-Do and Myself are not highlighted (with light background) when in use - just a minor thing.

I will, this is already a huge progress!
And as both, the stock foursquare app as well as 4squick, are ok but also have glitches and pros and cons (e.g. 4squick shows a mayors number of checkins, stock app does not), I am hoping for the perfect 4square client

Oh one more thing, there is this famous red square as icon.
Probably solved after reboot...

The icon is probably bugged.
Will check other things when my n9 arrive. On simulator all works as expected :-D

probably your GPS cant lock your current location.
does small satellite icon blinks at bottom-right corner?

Try set up supl.google.com as a-gps supplicant server.
