Lana, I wonder if you can edit somehow the file in /home/user/.config/scorpius/yappari.conf and edit the phonenumber line that's a bug some people are hitting and it'll be fixed in the next release...

also I guess "/home/user/" is owned by user so editing a file there via terminal should not be a problem.

Is it possible to have http proxy support with authention ( userame & password ) ? like pidgin

I cannot connect to whatsapp service using yappari on the campus because they have http proxy with authention

Launch the X Terminal and type this:
then press return (enter).
now press the letter "i" so you can start editing, after you are done press "Ctrl + C" to exit editing mode, then type ":q!" and press return to save and close the file the you can close the terminal window

I/O error probleem solved:
all you have to do just edit your yappari.config in
home/user/.config/scorpius/yappari.conf
using filebox...
on the phone number field, just enter your phone number with country code without " + "

The application works great! It does the basic things but it works!

If you can't edit the file because is troublesome to you the next week release will have that bug fixed.

EDIT

You can try this:

1.- Open your terminal
2.- Type: cp .config/scorpius/yappari.conf MyDocs/yappari.txt
3.- Use your Notes applications, select Open, go one folder up and load the yappari file
4.- Write in phonenumber the values of cc and number togehter
5.- Save the file
6.- Open terminal again
7.- Type: cp MyDocs/yappari.txt .config/scorpius/yappari.conf

pls i just installed yappari on my n900 but it doesn't sync my contacts. my contacts doesn't show for me to chat. can someone pls help me
