This is great news but for some reason libcurl3 is not showing up for me in extras-devel. Is applications manager not the way to?

it is still there. you need to enable extras-devel from app manager
then run xterm and type this

sudo gainroot
apt-get update
apt-get install libcurl3

Hello my friends,

I would like to thank you all. In fact you are right, 'libcurb3' was all the time there in extras-devel repository and couldn't see it simply because it was installed with its last update on my tablet N900.

Now the question is why i couldn't still share on FB like before? Because when it was updated, i had since a long time an annoying error message telling that i cannot uninstall 'catblock' and i don't know why i went through the forum to look for the solution and I succeeded to uninstall 'catblock'. That was the problem, after uninstalling 'catblock' i tried from the command line to install libcurb3 and it returns that it is already installed in its last update then i shared a photo on FB and it is working as before.

So again thank you all for your support.

Hi

Having got sick of not being able to upload photo's via my n900, i've searched the web and found this thread.

I have followed all the guidelines and installed libcurl3 via the X-Terminal. I am still however having trouble with my share via service.

As I deleted the facebook account before reading this thread i am now unable to register validate my account and it is showing the 'no network connection available, operation cancelled' message.

Please can you advise if there is anything else i need to do or if there is another way to validate my account?
