Hello,
been searching allover to try and find a solution for this but haven't found anything.
I lost my N9 a while back, got a new one and restored a backup to that phone. Now when I want to take a backup it takes a long while and ends up with an error message saying:
Can't create backup:
edp_prop_id_not_found
Please restart and reconnect your phone.
This is when trying to backup with nokia link.
I've also tried backing up with the phones backup feature. It just hangs on the backing up window for forever.
Any ideas? I guess the problem refrains from me restoring from a backup made by my first N9 to my new N9 but it should be possible, otherwise backups doesn't really help when loosing you're phone .

Afaik(I might be wrong, since I havent looked into sources for a while) backups are AES encrypted with device specific hash, so you cannot restore your backup from device to another. Atleast if I remember wrong and its not encrypted, you will surely end up in troubles if you try to restore from one PR release to another.

I'm currently working on of making non encrypted backup solution for harmattan, but my application is still missing a decent UI as I made current version is commandline based.... so that will not help you for your current backup.

So unfortunately you might have to reset&setup your device from scratch.

btw. define "for ever", 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 60minutes, 300 minutes? How long did you wait for back to finish?
