I did it with the FileBoxRoot . you can activate it by installing the magnificent N9 Quick Tweak.

WELL READ THE INSTRUCTIONS.

The renown that is removed from the status menu.
You can only rename these 3 files:

- Statusindicatormenu-alarms.desktop
- Statusindicatormenu-bluetooth.desktop
- Statusindicatormenu-internetconnection.desktop

DO NOT TOUCH THE OTHER.

Careful! You should remove old mt-toggles and toggles before installing v0.0.2

Changes:
#all
+ added automatically restarting sysuid durung installation/uninstallation
#mt-toggles
+ long press actions
- removed ugly (sorry, Mohammad) SWITCHER_ON/OFF images from bottom
#all toggles
+ changed icons
#bluetooth-toggle
+ changed press behaviour: short press switching between on/off, long press switching on Discoverable mode (green icon)

Install:
= inception/openmode same as before
* but no need in manual restarting sysuid anymore
+ all toggles require mt-toggles version >= 0.0.2 (upgrade it first)
+ also added restricted-system-ui depend in mt-toggles

RED ICONS after installing? Please re-download toggles again, files reuploaded, no need to reboot after installing anymore.

any advice on how to get rid of quick status launcher for Fcbook and Twitter? I accidentally installed it via Schturman´s app and can´t get rid of it now...

well I did get rid of it via this command:
mv /usr/share/meegotouch/applicationextensions/statusindicatormenu-social-status-updater.desktop /usr/share/meegotouch/applicationextensions/social-status-updater.disabled

but it´s still amongst the apps in application manager...and it says can´t uninstall...
