After pushing the icon, opens the first screen, which says the names of makers etc. Then "error loading the page" and then just white screen.

Remove and install didnt do anything.

What could be done here?

can you post me a log of starting nelisquare as i described above?

Have you tried install libqtm-12?
EDIT:
is this first install of nelisquare on your device?
EDIT2:
if your internet connection active at this time? If this is your first install, then nelisquare loads webpage from foursquare.com to get auth token (where you have to type your credentials)

All cleared, the date happened to be in year 2009 in my phone.
Realised since first entry in log was concerning the date.

Thanks anyway, and maybe this could be added to code "check if your phone is in correct time" etc

as I said in posting 126 128 in this thread I had problems with Nelisquare not updating the venue list.

Later I found out I had a dated version 0.3.11. After upgrading to version 0.3.13 the problem was gone. Always up-to-date venue list after clicking on "places".

Now I have a different problem: I can no longer upload photos. When I click "Add photo", regardless in which dialog, it shows me the image browser, I select an image, and it starts uploading.
In QNetMan I can see a short (less than the time I need to switch to that app) upload activity, but it stalls immediately. Afterwards Nelisquare shows "please wait" for minutes, hours, endless, nothing happens and the image never shows up on the venues.
I have tried this many many times, to no avail.

What could be the problem?
(Terminal output is not helpful here...)

The problem about racing conditions while there is "please wait" splash and no feed loads is solved at 0.3.16(just pushed to extras-devel).

Check if photo size is smaller than 5MB. and is in jpeg format (not only jpeg/jpg extension).
Currently nelisquare doesnt perform any checks of image, just sends it to 4sq.

Today I got v.0.3.16
but still no luck with photo uploading.
My Pics are from internal camera so they are JPEG for sure and way below 1 MB in size...

try upload photo (select it and gain "please wait" sign), wait for 2-3 mins (dont close an app, but you can move it background).
Goto feed, find your checkin, select it, and check if photo has been uploaded?

two questions guys:

* is it possible to earn mayorships with nelisquare, after checking-in a lot of times in the same place?

* are the "specials"/ promotions supported?

Of couse you can! just check in some days in a row

Specials will be supported in future releases when "lists" will be out.

Yes it is but Foursquare kind of sucks at this in my opinion. My girlfriend just started using foursquare as well and she checked in at her work. There allready was a mayor. He was there 2 times in the last 60 days.
My gf checked in everyday, but even after the 15th check-in the other guy was still mayor.

So to become a mayor you'll need luck or a new venue without a mayor yet
