My 'just arrived today' 770 reports a software version of:

Internet Tablet 1.2005.42-9

If I understand the previous discussions on versions, this is newer than the version that's available for download (0.2005.40-18).

It would be good if Nokia published a list of versions/history/changes so we can compare but I won't be holding my breath!

I do remember someone writing that that represents a version from the 42nd week of 2005. I'm presuming that this would be the 9th version from that week.
