Great! After 3 Years owning my Nokia N900, The charger port it becoming loose and I predict soon to be broken.

One of the sadest days of my life.

I'm sure others have done the same too, on the way I have 3 new hard case's coming which I bought from the bay, and also new full housing and digitizer coming as well. but now no use

At the moment, my N900 is charging on my Mounted windshield mobile holder on my table.. It's charging while the N900 is a bit tilted but who knows how long it will last.

Have you had the same experience?

We already have eons old (and containing plentora of posts) thread about this issue. Could You please just move there, instead of creating new, useless thread?

Sorry if it sounds harsh - I, understand Your pain. But I'm perfectly sure, that while creating thread, forum mechanism proposed You 4 already existing ones - You even hadn't had to search... Still, new thread. Do You think that no one else got the same, brilliant idea about creating USB thread before?

Genuinely sad for your N900.

The USB ports have been known to fall out on the N900's as documented on this site. Users like myself have resorted to re-enforcing the USB port by soldering (or epoxy) down the USB port to board. It might be to late for your N900 now, but who knows? Maybe it can still be saved?

I had the same problem with my beloved Nokia N900 charging usb port. Not sure what to do, changed a new battery & now I can only barely charge this device through my laptop usb port only. I thought about chage the usb loosen part, in fact I love this phone and is been more than 3 years for me, I don't want to gigve it up until TMOBILE have the new Nokia lumia900 available for upgrade. What to do? Guess my best option is to replace the usb charging port through a local mechanic for $30 bucks...wish me luck
