As to

"N9 screen is a definite disadvantage compared to N900"

only a complete tit would make such a statement

And yes, I have also owned a N900. Two in fact.

Here is an assessment of N9s (Pentile RGBG) screen from someone who is more impartial than most of us:

The N900 screen is inferior. Besides the dude is complaining about washed-out screen on the N9, not over saturated.

Let me just add that this discussion will determine your pecking order. One will walk out as the maemo troll king. The other a humiliated minor imp, who would do best to serve his new master in matters of trolling. Choose your weapons wisely, and aim to kill.

@marius
really?
cos you can even comprehend 65,000 colours?

It's just heartbreaking that the screen is so poor.

It’s kind of hard to believe that, almost a year after Apple’s iPhone 4 basically made individual pixels invisible, a display like this is still considered acceptable.
My thoughts exactly, Nokia should be ashamed.

and anyone who refutes pentile is bad, just look at that photo.

It's a cold, hard, reproducable fact.

I am now trying to get an N950, not only do they have keyboards, turns out they have full RGB screens too!

The N9 is a brilliant bit of kit, and yes, even though it does have its shortcomings.

The point is this - if you aint happy, ditch the thing and buy something else you may be smitten by...
