No, the point of this is people need to stand up and let it be known that this sort of stunt is unacceptable. If and when samsung make a tizen phone down the line, or if Nokia actually do have a plan B of maemo, they'll be able to see people weren't happy with pentile technology.

I really don't want people commenting that are simply saying "so what, don't worry about it" this is more, just say what you really think. if you honest to gosd cannot notice major pixelation even in normal usage, consider yourself blessed, because everybody else can, and i'd like them to speak up.

I just looked into the pentile matrix tech and yeah it does seem quite bad, but i have never noticed it on my N9, my eyes aren't that good i guess but colour wise N900 doesn't even come close.

I mean the black colour is just pure black there is no back-lighting issues at all, colours are so vibrant

You need to present facts and not spread disinformation. The Pentile RGBG examined by the article is Samsung Omnia 7, a 16 Million color screen. Not 65K

I was referring to 65K N900 screen, will you tell me i am also wrong with that too?

and for the record, pentile displays have terrible colour reproduction capabilities.

just compared n900 and n9 side-by-side identical video playback, and the n9 was substantially greener. constantly. All colours on the N9, are not quite as true as on the n900.

these are facts.

the n9 screen, is, colour-wise, inferior.

These are not the facts - that's your opinion dear sir And my opinion is that N9 screen exceeds n900 dramatically - color wise, black reproduction, "vibrance" of the image. If you can, check if your N9 is not somewhat defect. Otherwise, we have to agree to disagree on this matter.

There are N9's with color balance issues and others without. I thought that it was due to more green subpixels in pentile but someone with two N9's can confirm that one of them is less greentinted than the other. Please see this thread, I believe it has some answers

Wow. Based on your comments I would think Nokia pays you to disinform. Now you are going to tell me that it is better than iPhone 4 display?
