    This is what I saw on the forum, is this one for N900??

    I don't have a solution, sorry.

    But it got me interested, so I looked around and found how the front (white) LED can be manipulated:

    echo [0-255] > /sys/devices/platform/i2c_omap.2/i2c-2/2-0032/leds/lp5521:channel0/brightness

    And the screen brightness:

    echo [0-255] > /sys/devices/omapdss/display0/backlight/display0/brightness

    i can't do this because we don't have this file (disable_indicator_led) in the: /sys/devices/platform/i2c_omap.2/i2c-2/2-0030
    I tried to create this file, but I always got the same error:
    -sh: can't create /sys/devices/platform/i2c_omap.2/i2c-2/2-0030/disable_indicator_led: nonexistent directory
    Someone know what we can do ?

    I'm sure there is must be a way to disable that red light but we couldn't find it yet.

    As far as the Shutter sound is concerned to be disabled, since no option to disable within the native app, you can download the one of this 2 apps from Store... Self Timer or Photo Timer... It has option to disable Shutter sound...
