Yeah I tried reinstalling it but encountered the same issue, using 0.2.6 for now.

Miss the new features of the dev version but I will wait till I got more time to mess with it.

Well Nokia do at least know how to build a decent phone, just apparently don't know how to support it..

N900 Died Replaced with N8, Requested E7, "Accidentally Broke E7", Now rolling with an N9 and im loving it!

What version were you running? I have 0.2.6.30 with pr1.3 and don't have any issues, even when I update to pr1.3 wazapp worked without having to reinstall

Strange, well I reflashed it so I had to reinstall it, but for some reason I get this error, and even the .db file in /home/user/,wazapp has NO name :s

It is just called ".db"

Seems to have resolved itself, earlier on my N9 was having a "Screw You I Do What I Want" moment

All sorted now, back to using the dev version.

ok i'm a very paticient user here... i follow the development of wazapp since the beginnig and try to report things i realized while using... and i never ask for a date or faster release...

but i also follow the development on github, and the issue the devs working on for the next version don't get less... Still 10 issues since two weeks... another one showed up today...

so i wonder if it's not possible just to make a bug fix version 0.2.6.1 which just fixes the problem that wazapp is crashing all the time?

or another idea is to release a .deb file of the 0.2.6.3 version?

just asking if this is possible...

It is a very strong possibility that the devs work on their stuff at their home pc and do a lot of coding and testing and then coding and testing.

Then upload new patches and pieces of code all at one time to GitHub. Saves time and effort

GitHub just allows the devs to track bugs and also for users to report bugs they find easily without devs going through a hundred thread posts

After trawling the thread for ages, I've not been able to find a conclusive answer ... will sending / receiving media be supported in the next major release?

By the looks of it, no. Seems receiving is the only thing working atm, but ya never know, they may have figured it out, the lack of information from the devs usually means they are working hard.
