I have security code.

But I dont want to write it every time when I change song or change radio station so I have 10 min delay.

But sometimes you want it to lock it right now so you can leave it charging or something.

App would be like Lock screen app crom store but it skips that 10min. power button or not using phone would still have that 10min before phone asks security code again.

Sorry my bad english.

This is one thing I'm missing from the N900; being able to manually lock the phone, but also have it on a time delay.

I've attempted to make a simple app. but I can't seem to find the relevant dbus command.

Can you not just double press the power button to lock the screen?

...I do this, not sure of it is the same thing you are wanting though. I do not use a lock code.

Code:
run-standalone.sh dbus-send --system --type=method_call --dest=com.nokia.system_ui /com/nokia/system_ui/request com.nokia.system_ui.request.devlock_open string:"com.nokia.mce" string:"/com/nokia/mce/request" string:"com.nokia.mce.request" string:"devlock_callback" uint32:'3'
CAUTION: It's advisable to know your secure code before running.

I have some QBW's and scripts to do something similar to this. I started making a couple of QT apps with different options but with no C+ or packaging knowledge it went on the backburner.
