It says you didn't get the SMS in 2 minutes so it timed out. Did you receive it before it timed out?

What does the SMS say exactly?

I received sms two days ago when I tried to register for second time after installation.
    "WhatsApp code 279"

But it only works if you receive it before two minutes after you request it. If you receive it hours later it won't ever work...

So, if every time you try to register you don't get the SMS before two minutes Yappari won't register it. If you receive it later there's nothing you can do, until Voice Method registration is implemented, so you can type the code manually.

ANYWAY: I registered your account manually so you can try running Yappari again and it should be registered already. Try it.

That means I have to wait till the next release of application?
Thanks for Your responses, I'll wait till the feature to be implemented.

Read the edit: I registered your account. Yappari will ask you for your country code and phone number one last time and then it should log you in.

Yes, it is a privacy violation. Whastapp violates my privacy getting AND saving all my contacts numbers. If Yappari send all my contacts too, sadly, I won't use it (or won't update it). I need something to to tell Yappari I just want to send to Whatsapp Inc. data of contacts I know they are Whatsapp users. If only contacts with the international prefix are synchronized I could somehow control it, if not, I'm f*cked.

Happily someday will be a Wazzap N900 version and it will respect privacy better than Whatsapp. They will add an option to sync only the selected contacts: http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...postcount=1343
I think Whatsapp is not for you!

    @Scorpius:

Did you manage to read my feature request? Regarding Yappari showing all stored/cached conversations so that we can delete them.

Also, can the app do a version check so that users are notified on new versions being made available.

Just asking... Thanks for your efforts...

ajack you can delete the conversation through the menu of a conversation window.

You can also go to /home/user/.yappari/logs and delete files individually.

Yappari is alpha. When Yappari is ready it'll be in the repositories so there's no need for an external server to notify about your updates. I do need people read this thread all the time. You guys are supposed to be testers, not users, and this thread is our method for feedback. Yappari shouldn't be used by final users yet.

Yes, I don't mind doing it manually... Didn't know about the logs being kept there...

    Scorpius,
Thanks for the great app. I've been using if for the last 2 months and never had any problem.
God bless you and your boyfriend!
