WTF are you on about, you want to change region or debrand there's your ticket (& hell you asked!), no downgrading to PR1.2 needed.
Stop acting like a smartass - please. You know as good as anyone that going from a "higher" release (some country code for instance) to a "lower" (the generic release) is the same as downgrading, and thus impossible, even though it is the same Pr. That's the whole point here.
You said it can be done without downgrade to Pr1.2. Well? How exactly?
