I've been working on a text messaging service, and finally released it.

I made it so that it should easy work with the 770. (hopefully)

Give it a try and let me know what you think

TextMe.CC

Thanks
Cedric

What kind of a service/contract do you need from/with mobile operators to be able to run such a site? Where do the SMS messages go from the site?

I don't think you understand what the web page is about. It is a portal to send a SMS message to a cell phone, not to the 770. I think Cis4life has formatted it to be easy to use on a 770 to send a message.

Yes,

Its formatted to work fully with the 770. Im fully aware the 770 is not a cell phone.

Im working on some new features for the site so keep an eye on it.

Thanks,
Cedric

The site is working fine except that the character counter is slow or doesn't update everytime.

Am I missing something here? Every cell provider I know of gives you the capacity to text message via email using your cell number as the addressee. e.g. for Verizon it is xxx-xxx-xxxx@vtext.com

Certainly not in the UK - Orange used to do it, I'm not sure if they still do.
