Do you mean won't save at all or only on restarting OMP?
They won't save at all. Doesn't matter if I change every single setting and hit save - if I go straight back into settings again, everything is back to default.

I definitely don't have this problem.
Have you tried opening OMP via a terminal
Code:
/usr/bin/openmediaplayer
Then try to reproduce your problem, see if the terminal has errors in?

Yes, and I get no errors - other than possibly this:

Code:
State request denied: state request change denied by policy
Is it related?

From where are the settings read? I should check whether somehow something has happened to permissions for that file.

Try
Code:
ls -al /home/user/.config/MohammadAG/mediaplayer.conf

Is that the config directory for openmediaplayer? I had no such file in that directory, so I created a blank one, and now my settings are saved, and present as long as I don't exit the program. They are not saved to that file, however - it is still blank. And if I exit, all settings are back to defaults again next time I open.

A small step forward, but still not solved.

Why do you not just use the command in X-Terminal to look for permissions?

Directory permissions:
Code:
drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 4096
drwxr-xr-x 37 user users 4096
What should owner/permissions be for the non-existant mediaplayer.conf?

Not the right permissions to save anything as user!
Try to correct your permissions for /home/user
Code:
sudo gainroot
chown -R user:users /home/users

@gdizzz
What about small cleanup, of placing openmediaplayer configs in something like "/home/user/.config/openmediaplayer", instead of current place? AFAIK, such cleanups are part of preparing packages for CSSU (ade did same thing for worldclock replacement). Not to mention frustration, when one need to find that config - don't even start without dpkg -L

Of course, it's such minor thing, that it could be bundled with any update, that You're preparing, without any haste.
