I have seen gorilla's that did a lot worse...

But for me it's not the point anyway. I look in awe at work from people like Creativetone and others, but for myself, the criterium is as simple as "just having fun while learning how to draw a bit". I look at others for inspiration, not as a comparison. That would've been a lost match anyway.

For me, I would have never picked up drawing, if it were not for the N900 in my pocket.

In mypaint you can have symmetry (only for straight lines) if you change:
[I] in lib /document.py line 181:
N=1000 to N=10 to avoid ghost lines
and duplicating line187-191
where changing x[i] to -x[i] for horizontal symmetry or y[i] to -y[i] for vertical.

I try to figure out symmetry for all kind of strokes,I have problem with that interpolation, a menu for it ...Someone?...help?
I want to have all kind of features realizable in python.
hey SHARP66, have you looked at the development branch of MyPaint? it has symmetry feature (as well as some other cool new ones like making circles, colorizing, dodge, burn etc)

hope that helps in your learning

it also works on Easy Debian (but with pressure sensitive issue, see here http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...28#post1240928 )

@chasetheangel
Could You, please, write what kind of capacitive stylus are You using for Your sketches? I'm thinking about DIY'ing one, as experience with most of them is rather miserable (as with capacitive screens, at all...).

I tried to ask it via PM, but forum doesn't let me send PM's to You.

Thanks

/Estel

Hi Estel,

All of my sketches were draw by hand (finger) with no stylus. Stylus can't be used on the N9. I have been using the app SketchIt which is very limited and that is why the sketches were very rough. I just use zoom in and zoom out to add few of the details.
