i have version 21.2011.38-1 installed on my noikia n900. but i am unable to sign in in my skype acount. please give me some assistance, :'(

You don´t have skype version x installed on your N900, as skype is completely integrated in the standard communicaton protocols.

... Unless you´re not running Maemo on your phone...

Please, further describe your problem (what are you trying to do, how are you doing that, what´s the outcome and what are the error messages) and perhaps someone might be able to shed some light on it.

hmm. i cant get ur wrdss..... see, itype ma username, then paswr n tap on sign in. it start loadin and after a while it save my accnt. but not signed in... please.. i realy need of it .. please helpp meee..

So it saves the account? This suggests to me that it is able to sign it.
You need to go to the status bar, where there is also Bluetooth and profiles ... On there, you will see a tab that says Availability. Click it and set your availability Online. By the way, this information is in the manual as well as the On-Device documentation.

had done that... it still showing signing in..... n then shows not signed in... is there any way to reinstall skype or upgrade that plugin.... ?

this was happening with me using FB that i switched to offline mode on pc after that i could not sign in from my N900 until i switched to online from pc again.

i m not an expert
but i want to help you
looks like you are a Pakistani (from language,if you are not then dont mind )

the problem you said,shows you saved your account but forget to online it from status bar applet.(tap the clock in desktop,you should see Availability there)
if you have online it from Availability & still not woking then try the following & then tell me.
1.verify your skype I.D & Password in other device. (PC,Laptop,mobile,etc)
2.remove all your information about skype from your N900 (delete account etc),
reboot your N900,
connect to the internet,
save id and password,
tap ONLINE from Availability(status bar area) and click save...

if that doesnt work then tell me have you ever used skype in your N900 or you are using it first time in your N900...
are you using any other IM account except skype...
