Opening Image file from Filebox. Was it possible all this while? - maemo.org

I recently tried to open an image file directly from Filebox, when I pressed the file, nothing happened but I wasn't sure whether it has always been the case or did that just happen recently. Can anyone confirm? Thanks

this was caused by Opera Mobile v12...the changelog for v12.00.8 says this has been fixed...Maybe you might want to consider updating it...

no it's work fine with me ,, just tried it right now !!
1- do a " dpkg --configure -a " in the terminal , is there is any sort of error about ur file box ?
2- try to uninstall/install filebox !

Hmm.. maybe I will try to reinstall again. I already had the latest Opera Mobile.

EDIT: Tried reinstalling, didn't work. Still can't open. Oh sigh

You say you "pressed" the file? This may be a long shot, but have you tried double tapping it?

Why double tap? That's only applicable when I am in multiselection mode. No?

BTW: I am also using Wazapp Dev version, the downloaded image cannot be launch from the app itself. I suspect that there's something wrong with my Image Gallery app itself. Not sure how I messed it up, been using Unrestricted UI + Plugins and FasterN9 though

have the exactly same problem, uninstall Opera Mobile fix this. Reinstall Opera Mobile 12.00.8 break it again

How about older Opera Mobile like Opera Mobile 12.00.6?

EDIT: by the way, after removing opera, when I pressed an image, it will launch seriesfinale app, only when I remove tha app as well, it will launch the gallery.
