One of the main reasons I'm using the dev version is to see the name of contacts in group chat, so that would defeat the purpose

Since a few day Whatsapp on WP7 has been removed from the market place, assumably because of a serious saftey leak, because whatsapp messages are sent uncrypted/unprotected.

Euhmm there is no Whatsapp for the N9! So i don't know what u mean be clear!
And yes for WP7 it has been removed, it wil be rewritten!

huh? first of all WhatsApp =/= Wazapp

secondly..WhatsApp never been secure at the first place, too much security leak according to wiki...gtalk much safer, but people just love WhatsApp, hence Wazapp existed for N9.


if you gonna question about security, please leave this thread immediately, WhatsApp/Wazapp communication never been secure from the first day it launched.

I have to agree with you that the developer silence is scary.
I just take a look at github issues and realize it have been around 1month since last update by any developer.
I'm just wondering if it will just silently die off.
