delete the following from terminal as root and try again:

rm -rf /home/user/.qmf/

also all your contacts will be lost after this so make sure you've backed them up first...

ya sorry delete as user not root...I'm using open mode so that's why there's a little difference with others around here

as root all those things get deleted all fine on my device but wont delete on yours...
