    Hi,
I've just installed update 1.4 along with Maemeemo theme from extras-devel - now what?
I read through your guide, the instructions say to download and install a lot of things, but installation from repositories is not mentioned.
So I don't know which of these resources are part of the .deb package and therefore already present in my N900, and which ones I still need to get.
    How to proceed?
    thanks Ben

P.s. It would be cool if you could upload the guide to a host that does NOT require signing up for downloads as 4shared does!
I think it may be a hindrance for some people...

So if I have all I need now, how do I proceed to get Maemeemo up and running? Is it enough to follow the instructions on the wiki page?

There, I have a first problem with wallpapers:
    There isn't a /Maemeemo directory in my /home/user/MyDocs/.images/...

you need to setup maemeemo-theme using theme cusomizer in settings and use the latest lockscreen.
and put on qbw manually in the right places ( depending on your style ).
    i guess that is all

p.s: the MyDocs folder were in previouse versions now the wallpapers are located in optfs but choosing the theme from settings is enough

What exactly do I do to QBW, other than the placement?
Is just the heptagon with the Bee right now

I guess that Wiki and instructions in here ought to be updated
In fact, I'd be happy to do that once I figure out all the steps.
For now though, my desktop looks only a little bit like TransTech's screenshots...

So did you download the .deb from this thread, or install it from Extras?
Either way, did your desktop look like in the screenshots right after installation, or did you have to make other adjustments?
