I'm curious to hear what the Nokia Care center had to say about your micro USB port. What they told me is that I didn't know how to put the cable in so it's broken beyond repair and it's my fault, cost estimate 699€ (new phone) and charged me 25€ for the cost estimate when I didn't agree to the proposal.
So I bought a 5€ soldering station, 2€ Torx 4 & 5 screwdrivers and the 3€ micro USB port and did it myself. Actually I just pretty much ripped it apart from every seam, threw a bunch of screws and cover plates away and physically abused it in every way imaginable, but it works now. Oh yeah, and I didn't really even (de)solder anything - just ripped it off in my nerd rage.
Be careful with your USB stuff, eventually it will lose all connectivity after repeated straightening with a pin.
Seriously ****ed up ****. Can't wait for the Jolla phones.

Now this has gone worce, I now have to balance the phone against the wall or another surface for it charge, I then checked inside the port, I noticed that is now skew and loose, I regularly have to use a pin to straighten it so that the charger can fit. Last night I charged it, in the morning it was still charging, battery nt getting full, it's still on a charger now, 45% charged at list. I'm thinking of taking it Directly to Nokia as my Contract Service Provider say it will take roughly 6 weeks for repairs. Can't wait that long, apperently it gets fixed immediately at a Nokia Outlet.
Anyone with this problem?
