I am new here and I am just getting the hang of my NOKIA N800 -
i have the newer 2008 OS installed and I have been adding a few other things as well- I am interested in downloading and trying out Orb2 -

Do most people download it straight somehow into the tablet itself or would I need to use my PC first and somehow set it up before hand.

Would it be easy for anyone to explain the best way for me - Thanks -Aaron.

I run Orb on my Dell desktop which gets content from DirectTV using BeyondTV as my HTPC software. Orb software is loaded on the computer you will use to SERVE content.

I store my media on a FreeNAS- equipped NAS computer (old HP computer I had almost discarded)

I access the media using any computer or tablet I happen to be using. I log into www.mycast.orb.com and can watch live or recorded television. Orb transcodes and adjusts the compression to mate with your overall connection speed. You RECEIVEOrb media on your tablet using an internet browser.

A usage example: I carry my n800 around the house watching live DirectTV programs streamed via Orb. Very cool!

Orb is remarkable and has many features I have yet to explore.
