i got the CSV file from poinusa, used GPXtoPOI program to convert it from CSV to GPX successfully, but when i tried to import it from MM, it gave me the error:
Error parsing GPX file.
to eliminate data problem, i cut down the CSV file to 1 entry and converted it. went ahead to import but the same thing happens, is there something wrong with the GPX file generated?
here is the data file:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no" ?> <gpx xmlns="http://www.topografix.com/GPX/1/1" creator="Unknown" version="1.1" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.topografix.com/GPX/1/1 http://www.topografix.com/GPX/1/1/gpx.xsd"> <metadata> <link href="http://www.garmin.com"> <text>Garmin International</text> </link> </metadata> <wpt lat="33.446994" lon="-86.73121"> <name>B and N The Summit Birmingham</name> <cmt>Summit Shopping Center</cmt> <desc>Summit Shopping Center</desc> <sym>Waypoint</sym> <extensions> <gpxx:WaypointExtension xmlns:gpxx="http://www.garmin.com/xmlschemas/GpxExtensions/v2" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:schemaLocation="http://www.garmin.com/xmlschemas/GpxExtensions/v2 http://www.garmin.com/xmlschemas/GpxExtensions/v2/GpxExtensionsv2.xsd"> <gpxx:DisplayMode>SymbolAndName</gpxx:DisplayMode> </gpxx:WaypointExtension> </extensions> </wpt> </gpx>thanks!
