hello all, i encountered a problem when trying to import POIs into MM.
i got the CSV file from poinusa, used GPXtoPOI program to convert it from CSV to GPX successfully, but when i tried to import it from MM, it gave me the error:

Error parsing GPX file.

to eliminate data problem, i cut down the CSV file to 1 entry and converted it. went ahead to import but the same thing happens, is there something wrong with the GPX file generated?

if this file is the problem, then what tool do you guys use to make GPX file out of CSV?

Hi,

try to use gpsbabel to convert to the 'good' gpx format.
I get my GPX files from geocaching.com which out of the box
can't be imported to maemo mapper either.
Try to translate it via gpsbable works for me.

Thanks. GPS babel doesn't work for me, but I found a pretty good document to make the conversion using http://www.poiedit.com/

This person automated the process and included the source code online.
All you need is an Yahoo Map App ID and you can make your own list and conversion using that editor.

Now I gotta figure out if there's a way to customize the POI icons in my maemo mapper.
