How many characters are you using in your password? Are you sure you are typing them all in....correctly?

Maybe try and setup unprotected wifi and see if it will connect. At least then, if it still doesn't, that would rule out the PSK.

Thanks for that, I am using 13 chars for pswd and have gone as far as no security on my router, and still the same thing. I am going to call Linksys, and will try it on another network and see what happens...must say it is frustrating, because I've had it for 3 days and haven't really done anything but work on this!! I will post my results. I will keep watching this thread in the meantime, in case someone has the answer

Have you tried connecting to it with any other wireless device (laptop, etc.)?

Hi, not sure what you mean by "Have you tried connecting to it with any other wireless device (laptop, etc.)"...I can connect it to the internet using another device?? btw, able to connect using my friend's network (Dlink with WPA), so it kinda points to my router, don't you think?

Thx for helping, much appreciated...

What I meant was, have you tried using a laptop or something along with the tablet to connect to it?

IIRC, there was an issue with draft N routers. Try making it b/g or g only to see if that works.

See https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1459

It might have been fixed in OS 2008, however.

Guess what, it worked!! I changed my router to be on BG-mixed and it corrected the problem. My laptop is working under this setting so I'm leaving everything as is....
Now that I have network working I'll start looking at apps available, any suggestions, and whats your recommendation for upgrading to os2008?

U have been great, thanks to you I am now enjoying my n800....t
