    Hi,

Here in Brazil we still don't have any banking apps for N9 (AFAIK).
However, N9 was the _first_ device able to perform NFC payments.

    Check this app

PagSeguro (kind of brazilian PayPal) is responsible for all transactions. There are a few stores (13, and only in São Paulo) that accept this method.
Check the list of stores and more info here: http://pagseguronfc.uol.com.br/

Damn that looks awesome, does this mean the Cashier / Waiter must also carry the N9 to receive the payment? I thought there's a Device by the Till that U touch the phone on and the payment goes through, saw something like that watching Fringe Season 4 LOL

    haha

I never used that, but here's my 2 cents:
I don't think the cashier must carry a smartphone with NFC. Instead, he/she should carry a "regular payment machine" (the same you're used to pay with your credit/debit card). I've heard that some of those machine are already NFC-enabled.

So, if you're at some pub with your friends, they pay with credit card and you can pay with your smartphone, in the same machine.

Anyway, I'll try that and post the results. :-)

EDIT: You're right. As stated in the FAQ (http://pagseguronfc.uol.com.br/faq.html), it only works with two smartphones. That's kinda stupid, IMO.

if your country like most others doesn't have banking apps for the n9, just use n9qtweak to change your stock browser's user agent to ios/android for a better usability experience with all the fancy bells and whistles ios/android are given...

Read the pdf/wiki for n9qtweak on which tweak and options to choose..
