currently , i know that a2dp doesnt readily work with the 810 , but , will it output music playing through the headset profile to my desktop computer so i can hear the music? basically what im wanting to do is be able to select song to play on the tablet and the audio plays on my computer. is there currently any way to do this?

I plug my PCspeakers directly into the earphone jack on the N800. It's noot wireless, but it works. Got some speakers?

It does require wires, though.

Wireless Alternative would be to mount the tablet music files with the pc and play on pc. You can use the wireless sshfs for that. i'm confident sshfs from pc to tablet will work.

I'm using mpd to play music on my computer and mmpc on the Nokia. So i've got a full remote control. I can even browse my music collection (sorted by artist or just by exploring the filesystem)

It works flawlessly and it's really easy to set up (just type your computer address in the mmpc preference box)

i use vnc. works great for me. i, like eber42, have full control over the music !
its extremely easy to set up. if u( or anyone else ) wants/needs it, i don't mind writing a FULL step by step. like that new users could profit from it to

if requested i might even include screenshots.

just let me know

I think a full vnc step by step would be great! please write one if you have the time.
