I have checked in my log that there are 2 files creating problems: The second file (file:///home/user/.contacts/avatars/mfe_avatar_eF1267.jpg) does not exists, the first one generating a decoding error has following properties (file:///home/user/.contacts/avatars/mfe_avatar_Ew1293.jpg):

Maybe one could solve the issue by assigning a "default image/avatar" to users that don't have a custom image. Also parsing contacts for invalid jpgs/pngs and converting them would be helpful.
Latest update after 2 days of running the latest Wazapp.
Program runs fine, msg sendings, file sendings all fine.
Only noted, when ur typing a msg in wazapp n another msg is on its way it, the whole program freezes for a second or 2 till the incoming message appears n all typing etc resumes as per norm.
Note, during the freeze up moment, even while u type, nothing will appear.
K after 2.2days or problem free running of wazapp, now i get the connecting.......... for a long time only to never get connected.
Conclusion:
My wazapp is dead again lol
This are the steps I did:
- Uninstall Wazapp (full program, but NOT the account)
- Restart phone
- Delete all files in /home/user/.wazapp/ (not the directory)
- Install ginggs's version (DON'T START IT!): wazapp_0.2.6-0harmattan4_armel.deb
- Restart phone
- Start Wazapp. If you lucky, you will start recieve all the messages stuck in the server. The only problem I found, was that I had no contacts, and the sync function didn't work. This is why I'd installed Cepi's version after.
- Quit Wazzap (Menu > Quit)
- Install Cepi's version (DON'T START IT!): 03092012-1225
- Restart phone
- Start Wazapp

I had the same issue, i had to delete the .deb file every day and start wazapp again in order to work and i had to sync every time i restarted wazapp in order to get my messages that was sent to me hours ago from friends
I did your steps and i could sync my contacts with wazapp_0.2.6-0harmattan4_armel.deb, after that i installed Cepi's latest version and guess what i don't have to sync my contacts anymore it is always there Thanks!

it continously tells me that the installation failed - Installation interrupted.
I also tried to install Cepis Version, but i get the same error message.
I restarted my phone sevral times, still the same.
My Problem before was that i had to delete db file every day in order to connect to wazapp, otherwise it jsut closed during the connectig screen in the beginning.
anyone knows a sollution to the installation interrupted error?
