Post-KDE: browser launch -> "error while loading shared libraries

After installing KDE and rebooting, when I try to launch browser from the shell (nothing happens from the menu), I get:

browser: error while loading shared libraries: /usr/local/lib/libfontconfig.so.l: ELF file version does not match current one.

I wonder if this is related to the font issues after installing KDE.

In any event, does anyone know a solution?

Restarted again and it's fine. Weird.

Note that I was able to launch both browser and KDE immediately after installing KDE. Also that when this was happening, I couldn't launch KDE either.

Can you tell me what you did to make that happen? Did you try to fix the "font" issue in some way?
