It's almost 3 years since I bought my flawless N900 and it looks like it will never cease to amaze me!

I recently bought a SAMSUNG S6 Smart TV and I was looking for the lowest price of the rediculously overpriced SAMSUNG bluetooth keyboard and mouse. I think the lowest was something like 80 Euros.

Dissappointed by the high priced device I was coming to terms with the idea that scrolling and typing as I browse the web in my new Smart TV was going to be really slow. Try doing it with the standard remote and you will know exactly what I mean.

As you understand that was a bit of a let down. Then I thought.... why don't I try bluemaemo just for kicks

Guess what! N900 got pared with my TV like a charm! scrolling, typing and even media controls on my N900 controlled SAMSUNG are now as fast as my laptop.

    N900 WIN level: incalculable

    Hi Zifis!
    You're the man!!
I had your same idea about N900 and my smart tv UE32ES6800, but I got only mouse morking, while keyboard is unresponsive.
    I have 2 questions
Could you please explain step by step how you paired N900 and smarttv?
After installing bluemaemo, do you have package "libeet1" kept back?
    Tx on advance

Hey galeark, credit goes to the N900 and the bluemaemo team. I am just using them

    Here's what I did:

    1. Under TVs menu, selected system and then device manager
    2. Selected mouse settings first. (I thought chances were that k/b woudn't work)
    3. Selected Add bluetooth mouse
    4. turned on bluemaemo tapped on wait for connection
    5. That's it the devices were paired.

I don't know if that made any difference but I was holding my N900 very close to the screen during the pairing process (flipped the stand and placed it on the TV table like a boss!)

I have the lilbeet1=1.2.2 installed. Not sure if its the same I am not any good with code

NOTE: I sometimes lose connection and may need to turn off the TV off and on again for the connection to work. But I think that this is because the S/W of the TV is not very stable yet. I noticed a few bugs using Skype and browser crashed a few times but that's out of topic
