I'm looking for recommendations anywhere from cheap to da best quality backup battery packs if compatible with the N9.

On my old phone I used this external battery from Dexim:

http://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B...ls_o00_s00_i00

but it doesn't have enough juice for the N9.

Good points it had, that I wouldn't mind having on my future purchase:

- strong led flashlight

- battery pack charging with two usb connectors

- USB output connector for giving juice to any usb chargeable devices

- led indicator to show current battery level

cheers

Got a Yoobao Long March 11200mAh for my N900.
Has most of the features you require.
However can only seem to charge the N900 from the 1A port.

I got a Verbatim AA power pack on sale at OfficeMax that charges at 5V 1A.

I like the AA battery compatibility as I can use the charger indefinitely if I ever needed to and don't have to worry about plug adapters for overseas use.

For the DiYers out there, check out the Adafruit. They have a kit for a mint-tin sized double AA battery phone recharger(can use regular or rechargeable AA batteries).

I decided to go all out and got a nice Li-poly battery, solar charger circuit and a solar panel and am putting together something like these pics:http://www.adafruit.com/products/390

It has been working great! I have had trouble with the N9 not recognizing some USB chargers in the past so make sure what you buy can be returned.
