    I can't take it anymore.

WhatsApp Inc. does not put any resources into actively blocking this wonderful Wazapp Client.

They don't put resources into developing their own either.

From an economical POV, neither makes sense for them.

The times Wazapp stopped working for us was due to infrastructural server and protocoll changes over at WhatsApp Inc.

They released updated clients for all their supported platforms but since they are not sharing their protocoll specifications, Wazapp had to adapt manually.

That's what's causing the downtimes and a few other technical things...

Could we all agree that the only thing we deserve is NOTHING

Be happy that you get a free superbly community supported and developed version of an app that you would not have otherwise.

I despise all of you deeply who greedily ask for more than they deserve. Be happy, report bugs and weird behaviour but do not ever again dare to flame or blame one of the people who develop Wazapp or one of the community members who properly support its development.

That said - thank you Cepi, Knobtviker and TGalal

You've provided a base for properly doing WhatsApp on all Python and Qt enabled platforms!

You deserve much more respect than this community offers you.

    Cheers

Jeez some people really know how to suck up... The fact that I asked how much it costs Whatsapp Inc to block us doesn't mean I'm ungrateful to the Devs here....... I simply happen to be one of the people who thought when we were offline it was because of Whatsapp Inc blocking us, there's plenty of us who thought the same, including one of the Devs if I'm not mistaken, so thanx for clearing that up, no need to use this as a Platform for showing your loyalty to the Devs and making us bad people. We all greatful of their work and we know the situation could've been worce if there was no Wazapp at all, so stop running your mouth pointlessly trying to teach us human morals where not needed. If U wanna despise people do it privately!

I wasn't referring to you particularly. Those I targeted my message at will know, or at least should, assuming they do have some common sense ;-)

Ok, so my friend just got the N9 and he wants Wazapp on it. He doesn't have another phone and he doesn't know anything about flashing etc. A regular user.

He has gotten the 'failed too many' error message, and the app just gets stuck on 'Connecting'.

He's thinking of switching to the iPhone and I'd really want him staying on the awesome N9. Is there a way of getting the app to work without the registration problems?

    Thanks.

    Hey, could someone help?

I tried to un-install the wazapp and then install it again. But when I try to open the .deb-file it says (in finnish) "installation failed, wazapp installation was aborted."

I have tried deleting all deb-files, rebooting... I just dont know what to do anymore. I would be thankful if someone could help.

you have to delete the .db files i.e. databse files not the .deb file which is the installation file...

    Which version is he using?
Install the stable release from http://wazapp.im/ (without mediasharing options yet).

I'm not sure of the version number, but his version does have the media sharing.

Ok, but so unistalling the current version and installing the one you linked to (0.2.7 on wazapp.im) should fix the problems I mentioned?
