I found a little bug that my new conversation history wasn't saved.
This happen after I upgrade from 0.19 to 0.21.
Old history still saved but new conversation history just gone without trace everytime I close a conversation windows and open it again.
Is there any way to fix it?

No problem on my side, I guess you should delete all logs and see if the problem persists...
One question --> In the future, Could we send and recieve media files?

If you want to receive some images now you have to search in this thread for Yappari Log Reader, my first qt project..
I don't know how long it takes for Scorpius to implement the media files. If it's gonna take a while I'll maybe improve it al little..
* you can send smileys now. They are so many that it was a real pain to code.
* you can change the username. I don't really understand why you wanted this feature so much since nobody can see the username but iphones (and most people should have androids, not iphones. Apple = evil).
* registration timeout is 5 minutes now since it seems whatsapp inc is really struggling to register people out there.
I forgot to say that missing history is in group chat.

I don't see any problem in history of the group chats or any other conversations.
I think you made the mistake to run Yappari as root. That would change the permissions of the log files. Then when you start Yappari again as the user, it doesn't have the right permissions to write the log files.
As explained in Post 1282 here is an update (v0.0.4) of my YappariLogReader.
With this it is possible to view and download multimedia messages.
The update is that you can see any progress and it is not downloading already existing items anymore.
Since Scorpius said to me that the next release can show pictures I'll not develop this any further..
