Hello, can't seem to find anything that can help me. (Probably not possible any more)
I wish to use Transmission or QTRapids on my 3G connection, when I first got my N900 in 2010 I was with vodaphone and it worked then, but now it doesn't work (different provider now). Transmission is saying the port it is trying to use is closed and as I can't control the gateway/router/switch or w/e it is, I can't open a port. My carrier is Three mobile UK, are there any known work arounds or any port scanning tools available? I can't remember how I got it to work on vodafone before. I'm Linux iliterate so step by steps commands etc would be nice.
Also please point me towards relevant threads if they exsist as I am having trouble finding any.
