Hi. I like the application, but not all my whats app contacts get synced.
Is there a requirement I am missing? It seems random.

Did you see that your contacts' phone numbers are in international phone number format (eg +123456789 ).
If not,after updating.Try Menu > Sync.

Numbers don't need to be in international format, but they need to be at least in national format.

Local numbers won't be sync'd. That is, a number like 6667788 in your address book won't work. It has to be at least 786-6667788.

EDIT: BTW I just found you can disable Contacts Sync in original WhatsApp client. I don't know since what version this is possible.

There's still a little more work to do before the release. Right now thumbnails are not being stored in the history log (and they should) and some other little bugs...

I have a question. Are considering wrapping-up long links in conversations in a future update? I have to scroll horizontally

Not in the next release. Only images will be included.
