im getting red cross at news feed for the.first time...
btw,im using 0.6.2,recently.update from nokia store...what is the.current.version suppisto be at store?
Store has 0.6.4.
When you check your version number, look it up from App Manager (or dpkg/apt-get), as MeeCast itself claim to be still 0.6.2 (as Vlad confirmed in post #685)

Oh yes...i've checked it, at app mgr, it is 0.6.4 while the app itself shows 0.6.2
Apps4Meego has v0.6.4...You may want to click that red icon; it'll open meecast, close it and reboot...It shouldn't occur again...
I tap the red X and nada until I reboot. This has happened with every update to the app since I started using it early this year. Sent vlad my config file.
This app is the only reason I ever reboot my phone - there's something awesome about not having to reboot for 50, 90, or more days.
Has anyone had issues updating the forecast with the 3G connection on bom.gov.au source?
I am using bom.gov.au - melbourne as a source. I can update no problems using WiFi, but when I use 3G and push the refresh button, nothing happens. The 'Last Update' section remains at the last WiFi update time.
Though, strangely, using The weather channel and the city Calgary, which I also use, it updates fine using 3G.

Any ideas?
Sounds more like this issue, read the first 5 pages (at least) carefully: http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=82183
I often get connectivity issues when connected to the net via 3G but never with WiFi.
Some users claim to get issues with both, but the former is more common.
