In various threads teach you install older versions (such as 5), but wanted to know if it is possible to install the latest (22). Especially in maemo.

But officially, Google does not support Chromium on Maemo 5. What stops others from unofficially porting Chromium to Maemo? How can Google claim that Chromium is "copyrighted" software? I don't know. You are welcome to look into the issue.
