Hello

Sorry this is a bit of a noob question but I need to know;

When I download apps from the store and they are updated I am alerted on my phone of a software update. Does the same update process apply when downloading and installing a non-store application? Will I still get notified in the same way?

If "no" like I suspect the answer is there a way for me to update all my non-store apps at once?

I am a N9 noob and I am not afraid to admit it!

No...If you download from the Store or Apps4Meego there is an update mechanism...

If you downloaded from non-trusted source, the source has to inform you of the update via the forum or the dev's own site so you have to update manually from there...

I don't see all non-trusted sources updating apps at once so there is never a need for updating all of them at a time...You won't face that scenario...Maybe what you can do is subscribe to the TMO thread that has the app you are interested in...

Thanks, I think I will have to subscribe to certain TMO threads.
I have never heard of Apps4Meego so I am going to take a look at that now
